Scripture for today

The Message Psalms 20:7-9 See those people polishing their chariots, and those others grooming their horses? But we're making garlands for God our God. The chariots will rust, those horses pull up lame— and we'll be on our feet, standing tall. Make the king a winner, God; the day we call, give us your answer.

For some reasons I rely on the Internet for my Bible commentaries when I am studying the Bible. I use the Everyday Life Bible with personal notes from Joyce but sometimes I need commentaries to understand more about some Scriptures. I remember two days ago, I was out of browsing data and needed to understand some other people's view on a particular Scripture. I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit for interpretation which I got in a short time. He reminded me immediately that sometimes we as Christians rely on Google so much.  We should not be quick to run to our phone but rather it should be the throne room. 

The throne room has been neglected most times as Christians. We easily send messages to friends about something that happened or we need advice for. We run to God last when we have gotten all the advice from every corner. 

One thing is, the power of prayer is sometimes underrated. We trust on our intellect to save us at every point. We trust on our pastor's counsel more than the counsel of the Holy spirit. As singles let's trust and listen to his leading more than the external leadings. Our trust is not on the Internet, or even our groups, our trust is in Lord. 

Prayer: Father, help trust your leading.
