Isaiah 1:19: If you'll willingly obey, you'll feast like kings.

This journey is very emotional for me. I will be sharing my very first week writing the love letters DEVOTIONAL FOR SINGLES. It was a journey of obedience (still is). Lord, I never knew I would come this far. Am eternally grateful. I felt very unqualified writing this but God did just what he wanted to do through me. Enjoy my throw back week. Lol.

In November 2015, I heard the Holyspirit tell me clearly to start writing down devotionals for 2016 . I was like WHAT!!!!A DEVOTIONAL!! What for? For who? Why me? I can't do it! I said all of these in a split second battling in my spirit and wishing it was just me talking  to me.

The Holyspirit who is my ultimate reminder kept reminding me. Yes! I struggled to obey. I didn't see the possibility of me journaling my quiet time for single Christians like myself. Obedience is a great struggle we have as single Christians. We want to question God why we should obey him.  

We are so full of excuses and reasons why we cannot do the very thing he has instructed us to do. Obedience is the key to enjoying the good of the land from our scripture for today. What more can we wish for in this new year? 

Most  of God's promises in his Word are hinged on obedience. Only if we will obey the voice of God in the new year, we will see the wonderful things he will do for us.
