My dear, wedding is a one day show but marriage is a whole life ministry. Thus, it requires critical thought and prayers.
Most often, when people are in relationships they are carried away by many other immaterial things like going for parties, catching fun, talking about wedding day, having sex etc, and at the end, after the long planned wedding they will start having problems in marriage and unhappiness sets in.
It is never late to make a decision rather than going for what is not ones desires. Before saying YES to any man or proposing to any lady, ensure that you pray and make sure that your communication gap is closed.
Research, meditate before coming up with your final decision. You may think you have arrived at your final decision, but still pray and meditate, always try to identify reasons for any final decision you make.
Your final decision should only consider your future peace and happiness as priority and no one else or a particular community. Think properly before the I DO. May you Have a fulfilling and blessed marriage.

Thanks Ifeoma for this post share. As you pointed out, prayer and mediation are key factors in making such a lifelong commitment, this is an excellent example for those considering such a lifelong union. Though prayer, we find Gods true will for our lives. Thus releasing us from making decisions based upon our natural senses. This advise will put us in a postion to hear from our creator, knowing what is His perfect will for our lives. Blessings to you and always Stay Encouraged.

Call me crazy yeah, but if there is one thing i look forward to when i get married, then it is having Sex randomly without spending a dime or begging.. or **Clears throat having to give the popular "Let me in, I promise wont move" or the "just the Tip" Line.. **Winks.. That out of the way.. I will start by saying what a lady once said to me.. "Duru is sex food?!" Truth is, NO!.. I mean it's just 1 piece of a big puzzle called marriage.. but still i think that the top important things in any marriage are Sex, Food but majorly the ABILITY TO BOND AND BECOME 1.. I mean think about it Ifeoma... What would marriages be without the ability to Bond?!.. Okay lemme think.. Ehmmm ehhmm ehhmmm.. Horrible!! Thats what...
ReplyDeleteI think that we all have to find a someboRRy that accentuates and complements us.. Someone Who can make us smile when all we want to do is cry.. Someone Who can hold us and tell us that everything will be just fine, even when they know thats a lie... Someone who loves us for us and not for our worth.. Before you say I do Bubba. My advice is that you be sure that you Really do.. cause unlike dating.. marriage is a one way road..
Baby mi.. I will like to conclude by saying that GOD made 1 man for every woman and vice versa.. So taking time to ask him if truly it is from your Boyfriends Rib that you were formed is a top necessity before getting the ring... Cheers Bubba.
