MONEY CAN'T BUY LOVE

LOVE LETTERS|DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SINGLES|DAY 322
Scripture for today
The Message Song of Songs 8:6-8 Hang my locket around your neck, wear my ring on your finger. Love is invincible facing danger and death. Passion laughs at the terrors of hell. The fire of love stops at nothing— it sweeps everything before it. Flood waters can't drown love, torrents of rain can't put it out. Love can't be bought, love can't be sold— it's not to be found in the marketplace.
Money is important in every relationship but it should never be the driving force of our relationship. Money can influence your relationship but let's remember no matter how rich you are you can't buy love, neither can you buy good communication skills in your relationship. I see a lot of misconception about love and marriage especially when it come to finance and I have come to this conclusion, money is important but don't let it have your soul. Don't allow money be the determining factor of who you choose to spend the rest of your life with and who you won't.
Don't allow money drive you into situations you never expected to find yourself in. You see a lot of marriages and relationship crash because one party either lost their job or seem to be earning less. I began to wonder, why are we so driven by papers that we forget that even the richest of us all who once lived as the world's richest and wisest couldn't acquire love with everything he had. Solomon couldn't. You can't either.
Prayer: Father, thank you for making me understand money can't buy me love.
