Scripture for today

Proverbs 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation. The traveler left, rejoicing in his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the wise woman.

“I’ve been thinking,” he said, “I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me something more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone.

What you carry on the inside is what stands you out from the crowd. Wisdom is the principal thing,  we have been advise to get it in all our pursuits.

 As young singles we did develop in the knowledge gathered by the generations before us.  But have you ever thought to yourself "could things be done differently". I guess you might have.  So what's holding you back from searching the scriptures and making findings to validate or create an alternative to how things had always been. 

 God's wisdom is available for all situations; nothing is ever too modern not to have a Word from God for it. 

 You would be happier if you played your own role in your life. Find  Wisdom! Search the Scriptures.

Prayer : Father, may I find the wisdom that comes from knowing and reading about you.
