Scripture for today

Ruth 1:16

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God. (KJV)

I heard a testimony of a young man who determined to relocate to another city with little money to sustain him; but he had a vision to preach God's word in the city. He lived in an uncompleted building for 6months doing his evangelist assignment until God's face shined on him and he was able to get an "tiny" accommodation. He kept faithfully at this choice and today his ministry has grown in that same city and beyond. 

You see so many young singles tend to flow with the tide. Never really determining a certain course of action because of the "fear of the unknown" as it is usually called. Amazingly they have these uncertainties ruling their choices in choosing a life partner, having a career and unfortunately their fellowship with God. 

God's word entreats us to make choices and not assume that life would just happen to us (you really don't want life to happen to you);  we should only trust in Him for the very best (Ruth 2:12)

Stop gambling with your future and determine to choose a course of action today prayerfully and trust God to do that which only Him can. 

Prayer: Father, help me to set out a course of action that will make me fulfilled in life.
