Scripture for Today

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.” (ESV)

When Jesus sets you free you are free indeed. There is only one thing that can keep you bound and that is sin. Jesus has come to redeem us from the power of death, sickness and diseases but we are the only one's who decide to walk into those very things he has rescued us from.

I remember when someone was telling me that if a miracle is real it will last for ever. And I must say that receiving a miracle is not enough but maintaining the miracle is what is more important. Sin can draw us back into the very things we have been taken away from. God has called us into freedom from all things but sin is the only distraction.

Sin is the only thing that can separate us from God. Its only sin that makes the devil have a little power over us. Its only sin that can keep is bound. Jesus has come so that we might be free. We need to embrace his love for us so much so we would enjoy this freedom from sin and the enemy. Accept Jesus today say "bye" to the things of the flesh and enjoy total freedom and liberty.

Prayer: Father, help me remain in the center of your will.
