LOVE LETTERS||DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SINGLES||DAY 97

Scripture for today

Psalm 51:10 Don't throw me out with the trash, or fail to breathe holiness in me. Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails! (Msg) 

Some versions will say Create a clean, persevering and steadfast spirit in me.  This is a psalm  of David he needed help from God at this time.  Have you ever felt that God has thrown you out with the trash? It's not a cool feeling  at all. Let me tell you a little about the times I have felt that God has thrown me out like trash.  

In my times of being broke,  sometimes when help couldn't just come from anywhere.  Even begging from people couldn't make matters better. 

Yesterday when it seems everything was falling  apart.  I just didn't understand  why my phone will just reset on its own.  Vital documents gone, important contacts wiped,  like every thing. I  just couldn't understand why such a thing would be happening at  this time.  I have had moments  when I felt so empty and depressed.  I just couldn't understand why I wasn't happy,  I was  angry at God. I was depressed,  I seemed to struggle with everything. Why would he allow such to be happening me?

I totally  understand that feeling, the hurt,  the disappointment  and even the gray exile.  Our prayer should be that God should put a fresh wind on our sail.  We need him to create  in us a new spirit our heart is just so heavy to carry his presence.  All we need is his presence even in times we feel  he is not around he is so much around.  He is more than  able to see us through. 

Prayer: Father, create in me a clean heart.  Renew your spirit within me.
