Scripture for today

Psalm 138:3 AMP

In the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthened me with strength (might and inflexibility to temptation) in my inner self.

This has been a Scripture that I have been memorizing for a while now. I have not just been memorizing it but it has come alive to me. In my times of trouble once I call upon him he has always answered he has given me strength I mean strength on my inside to withstand the situation. God always gives us inward support for us to be patient through the times he is taking us through. 

We have shared here severally how God speaks, how he leads through the tough ways, how he protects us, how he is everything to us, and so much more. I will love to make us understand that because the time of singleness is a time when we face various types of temptations ranging from rushing out of God's will to sexual lust and looking for shortcuts to making wealth, God is ready available. In this phase, just like God did not leave David empty without support and inner strength he won't leave you empty. 

All we need to do is to call upon him. Any step God wants you to take he will give you strength for it. He will give you all the joy and cheerfulness in the very mean times. God's mercy and grace is capable to keep us. One thing we must do is trust him. If he asks you to wait he will give you patience with a lot of cheerfulness. 

Prayer: Father, help me trust you the more.
