Things went from bad to worse as they became like mere house mates, leading independent lives.
Tony felt pushed out, Slyvia felt cheated.
It is exactly two years; it's their 2nd year anniversary. In the evening; They are at each other's throat again with Onome present in the house.
"You guys should stop this please!" Onome pleaded.
"Why? He had no right to call my dad into our marital issues. Be man enough to handle your problem". Slyvia said angrily.
"You have totally gone crazy. So what if I informed him about what you've turned our marriage into?" Tony attacked.
"Don't you dare push any blame to me? You ruined everything from the
beginning". Slyvia said in her defence.
"Please!....Today is supposed to be a day of celebration. You love each other so....." Onome intervened again.
"Just stay out of this, Onome! Leave love out of this. I don't know why he called you here also". Slyvia fired back at Onome.
"This is your friend who you consider your sister; I needed a solution; someone to talk sense into your head. What else do you want from me? I am seeking a solution here". Tony said, defensively.
"It's your cross anyway. Am not the one that defiled our marital bed". Slyvia accused him.
"Defiled?!!" Tony and Onome said in suprise.
"You dare accuse me?" Tony asked in disbelief.
"You think am stupid, right? Your secret is out. I loved you but No! It's not good enough. Oliver twist! Better don't catch any diseases!
Tony laughs out in disbelief.
"From one thing to another; so infidelity issue is the one I will face today. Onome! Please, talk to your friend; this is not the person I married or better still, I didn't know her very well".
"You are the one I didn't know well. What even made me think I could raise a family with you?"
Onome said out in shock; "Slyvia!....don't.."
"You heard her, right? Fortunately, the feeling is mutual. My children can never come from you too. You're insane! So much for love and  
vows!" Tony answered back.
"Both of you should stop this! Stop hurting each other! Please!.." Onome screamed out.
"Am out of here! Am done! Fed up!"
Tony said, hissed and angrily leaves the house.
"Slyvia, you should apologize to him. Two wrongs don't make a right". Onome advised.
"Over my dead body! I deserve an apology from him. Just stay out of this!" Slyvia replied, hissed and leaves Onome standing there.
