SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY

Exodus 4:10 But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” (ESV)

When God told me to write devotional, I had a million questions. You all might not understand it. I have a 7-6 job, I am serving my country, I have a lot on my plate usually and I enrolled in Bible school. I just couldn't understand why God will make me tow this way. I felt I wasn't good enough, bold enough, so good a writer of the Gospel of Christ. You know so many times I wished in my spirit I could just hear a "the message is for the other person" but no! It was a call to serve my Father in truth and in Spirit. Now I am glad he called, I am glad he gave me an assignment I felt was too huge for me so I depend totally on him. I pray so much about all that he has asked me to do because i know he knows the next step. He is faithful when he calls.

So many single men and women wait forever to start out the assignment that God has called them out for. Judging by the past you may not seem experienced or may have scars that everyone visibly sees. Your life seems to remind you of how unworthy you are to receive from God and even spread his Gospel.

Yes! Your case might be worse than Moses but God has called you and he will surely equip you. The first part you need to play is to act out in obedience. If Moses could look into the future maybe he wouldn't have bothered to start telling God he wasn't equipped or qualified for the journey. It will all end in praise.

God does not call the qualified, he qualifies the call! Act in obedience today!!

Prayer: Father, I depend solely on you for the grace to fulfill your call upon my life.
