TO SNOOP OR NOT TO SNOOP

7:21 am

Good morning loves, how have you all been?
Thanks for visiting one more time today

I have heard a lot of people say It is wrong to snoop into your partners phone, emails and other personal informations. Some people say its cool and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I kind of have a difference way of looking at this snooping issue.  Am a bit confused and need clarification from you all.

Am I snooping when I occasionally check his emails?
Am I really snooping when I check out his text messages or call history? Are we supposed to keep secrets?
Aren't we supposed to be open to one another?

So I throw the question over to you all,  is it evil to snoop?
Does snooping hurt trust in relationships or marriage?
When will snooping be actually called snooping. Lol

I know this post is full of questions just need to hear from you all. Will share my own view on this with you all later.

  2. May I add this question... When you check his mails, text or phone history, what exactly are you searching for?

Will certainly be back here in the evening to learn from people's view. I have always wanted to do a post on this.

    2. You don't search for trust. You earn it! Beside if you don't trust him why go into it initially??

  4. I guess it depends on the type of relationship it is. Once a partner breaches an initial trust, it becomes harder not to snoop around I think.

  7. As I attempt to avoid questions that I believe are a personal choice, I will leave this comment. Perhaps the issue of a matter such as this should be discussed between the partners involved. Often times more than less, getting others opinions in regards to trust in relatuonships causes more confusion than clarity.

  9. People check their partner's device but when you are on a fact finding, it is called snooping.
Personally, I have never snooped and I don't like people checking my device, yes it is mine and no, I have nothing to hide.
Like bloggorati said, it's the motive that is the thing which in most cases is breach of trust.

  10. I use to check my husband's phone because of my own insecurities. He is faithful to me and the children and is a very god man and father. I honestly think I was trying to find fault in him just because of how I was feeling at the time. I don't do that anymore and he says he has nothing to hide, and neither do I. So like Amaka mentioned we need to check our motives behind "snooping".
