Scripture for today

Psalm 55:22 (AMP)  Cast your burden on the Lord (releasing the weight of it) and he will sustain you.

You ever felt the world crushing in on you from the hurt of rejection or even outright betrayal? Even believers sometimes are consumed by their travails and do not remember that their responsibility is not to be the load carrier. I am sometimes that believer who forgets how faithful God is when situations I never expected to see get across me. When I go to church and God talks about the very temptation I would face and fall straight into it the next day. I am gradually learning to trust him truly and surely to bring me through situations. 

God has instructed you and I to release ourselves of such weights trusting Him to sustain us and bring about the needed restoration. 1 Peter 5:7

You have no choice than to be filled with joy at all times. For its not your burden to bear. It feels good to know there is someone who is in charge and is ready to fix any situation you find yourself. He is a mighty fixer he is ready to fix any situation just trust him. 

Prayer: Father create in me the consciousness to always bring my burdens to you to bear.
