NEVER DOUBT IN YOUR STORMS

Scripture for today
Matthew 14:28-30
Peter, suddenly bold, said, "Master, if it's really you, call me to come to you on the water."He said, "Come ahead."
Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus. But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, "Master, save me!" (Msg)
Have you heard God say clearly "its time to you come up higher, or become a better you, or leave that job?" God is always calling us out of one point or the other we are in. He could tell you to let go of one thing or the other, since it was God calling you out I must say you thought there won't be storms right.
God is always leading us but he is not in control of the state of our heart. Our hearts need to be firm on him no matter the storms we are feel under our feet. We act sometimes like Peter, we are so ready to move forward once we are told by God to move but we doubt once we begin to feel the storms around us. God has been talking to me about storms and doubt because I just seem to be at that point in my life.
Sometimes just like Peter I scream out, help me Lord! I have moved out in obedience to your word but it seems the storms just want to swallow me up. Truth is, it takes all the faith and determination I can muster to move forward sometimes. The storm has no power over you if you have no doubt. Peter started out his journey of faith to walk on the sea but once the sea began to roar, he started doubting and began to sink. Matt 14:31
God doesn't leave us empty, he doesn't use and dump us. He just needs us to have enough faith without doubt to conquer our adversities on our journey to the other side.
Prayer: Father, help my unbelief.
