Scripture for today

Psalm 37:23-24  The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step]. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.(AMP) 

When God tells you to do something he has  a reason for it. You might never have it all figured out but somehow he has a way.  I remember when I was asked to start this devotional I  was scared.  I wasn't sure what was going to happen next.  I wasn't sure how I was going to cope with all the responsibilities that comes with writing everyday.  Well, I stepped out in faith and it has been wonderful though challenging.  Sometimes am discouraged other times am just not motivated.  Sometimes my job gets so busy and I just can't find time to study God's word.  Somehow it's just working out. 

Obedience to God's will just starts with a step. The truth is you as human might be wondering how you are going to make it.  You might be scared and you will just want God to show you all the questions in your heart.  God has it all figured out, you might have the all road map but if only you can step out in obedience he has it all figured out. Let's remember that if we are faithful in little things, God will entrust us with more. God will certainly bless the works of our hands so step out on a journey with your father. You are trusting God for a multimillion company but you are yet to be faithful with the little job you have. 

By faith when you follow God one step at a time you will be marvelled.  He is just too good and He understands that sometimes you could fall.  That's why he will hold you by the hand and pull you up.  Yes he will pull you up. He understands you and your journey.  He will see you through. 

Prayer: Father, help me step out in faith on this journey.
