LEARNING UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Scripture for Today
Genesis 37:8 AMP
His brothers said to him, Shall you indeed reign over us? Or are you going to have us as your subjects and dominate us? And they hated him all the more for his dreams and for what he said.
Family members are people it seems we are stuck with for life. You know, I know their are family members we don't just get along with. I realized even with myself it is so true. I observed that another person could step on my toe outside and as a gracious Christian I would just smile over it and tell the person it's alright. That same day, on reaching home if my younger brother tries it, it's going to be a serious issue. I would yell on top of my voice "What is your problem, can't you see?" In this season of singleness I have been made to understand that you are as christainly as you treat your own family members. Your Christianity is not just for people outside you start with members of your household.
You know, Joseph had members of his household who could not stand him. They hated him so much they could kill him or even sell him. Our first people to give unconditional love are members of our household. Looking at Joseph, at the end of the day the hatred of his family members didn't reduce his love for them. It trained him in his forgiveness process in life. He was used to being treated unfairly or even shoved here and there so even in the prison he stood out. What ever you have to deal with right now is preparing you for the great future ahead of you. Love your family members unconditionally and you will reap the great benefits.
Prayer: Father, help me love my family members unconditionally.

as difficult as it sounds its our responsibility as God's children to love unconditionally... thanks for telling it as it should be.
