Scripture for Today

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked hard at them and said, "No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it." (Msg)

Is there any impossibility with God who knows all things?. God knows the beginning from the ending so why worry too much about things you know you cannot pull off yourself. I remember waking up with a great burden on my shoulders. I have worked so hard to make things work by myself in some areas of my life. I thought I could pull it off, maybe because I felt I had all what it takes to achieve it. God has proven he is God by making all my human efforts to fail. He has made all efforts I could put in as a man to be destroyed so am left with no other option than to trust him. We as believers shouldn't always have God as a last resort. He should be our first and our only help in tough situations. 

God is all we've got as believers. He is more than enough for us, he is the voice in a voiceless situation. The peace we have in the midst of chaos. He is the peace in the middle of our storms. Through the ups and downs of life there is a God who is more than able to see us through.

Psalm 118:8 Far better to take refuge in God

than trust in people;

Far better to take refuge in God than trust in celebrities.(Msg)

It is always better to trust in God, no body has trusted in God and has been put to shame. I can imagine the woman with the issue of blood who has exhausted all her means of getting cured. She has given all she has just for a cure but it didn't come forth. She met Jesus one day and he cured her of her infirmity. God is more than enough.

Prayer: Father, I know in you all impossibility is made possible. You know all the impossible situations in my life. Father, see me through.
