Scripture for Today

Amos 3:3 Do two people walk hand in hand

if they aren't going to the same place?

Have you ever tried doing something with someone but both of you are moving in different directions? We tried as kids, we had this game we played often we will hold our hands together and try to move with the same leg and hand movement. We would succeed for some minutes but eventually we will miss our steps and it will be messed up.

Over time the more we did it together the better we got while doing it. Agreement doesn't come suddenly. You need communication of expectations.

Working in agreement in relationship, marriage or even leadership cannot work if there is no communication and a common sense of purpose. Having the same driving force is important when working with someone. Have you ever tried forcing your ideas and decision on someone you are supposed to be working together with? Did it work? Were they really happy working with you? 

There is great power having a sense of agreement with God. When God gives us a promise in his word we need to agree, we need to believe, we need to trust him totally. 

In our relationship we need mutual agreement and a common focus.  The Bible says that one shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousand. There is great power in unity.tenrk more on having a common agreement and sudden and see how things turn out.
